CT Holdings and Cargills come to the fore of CSE trading in the wake of profit-takings

CSE trading as a whole showed profittakings yesterday but the market was mainly driven by two companies; Cargills and CT Holdings.

CT Holdings and Cargills come to the fore of CSE trading in the wake of profit-takings

Amid those developments both indices moved upwards. The All Share Price Index went up by 96.5 points, while the S and P SL20 rose by 0.76 points.

Turnover stood at Rs 3.1 billion with three crossings. Those crossings were reported in HNB (NonVoting) where 200,000 shares crossed to the tune of Rs 59.8 million; its shares traded at Rs 299, Melstacorp 150,000 shares crossed for Rs 23.78 million; its shares traded at Rs 158.50 and Lanka Tiles 380,000 shares crossed for Rs 20.4 million; its shares traded at Rs 53.
