Scar Lane is to get traffic calming measures
TRAFFIC calming measures are on the way for a Kirklees speeding hotspot which saw 12 casualties in a five-year period.
Scar Lane in Golcar has a history of collisions. Between 2019 and 2024, 10 reported collisions resulted in 12 casualties, including six people who sustained serious injuries. These were a result of speeding traffic and vehicles crashing into the back of each other.
