BOSS GRANT FRUSTRATED AFTER COBBLERS DRAW
HUDDERSFIELD boss Lee Grant was “very frustrated” not to come away with all three points after his side were held to a 1-1 draw at Northampton.
Nesta Guinness-Walker’s thunderous volley gave the Cobblers an early lead at Sixfields but Leo Castledine headed home a Dion Charles cross to level before halftime.
The best chance of an error-strewn second half fell to Huddersfield substitute Cameron Ashia but he failed to convert as the visitors' winless run in League One extended to four games.
"Time will tell whether or not it’s a good point," said Grant, whose side are eighth in the table.
"A point is a point and we're away from home at a ground that's difficult for lots of reasons - the conditions, the pitch, an opposition who are organised and work really hard.
"Kev's got his side playing a really hard, aggressive brand of football so a point away from home is important but, if we're really honest, we know it’s a game we have to win.
