HUDDERSFIELD Town midfielder David Kasumu has described tomorrow's Carabao Cup tie at home to Manchester City as "a big night for the football club".

- By STEPHEN PAGE @examinerHTAFC

The Terriers host City at the Accu Stadium tomorrow evening, with Town taking on a formidable opponent in the third round of the competition next up.

Pep Guardiola's side have won six of the last eight Premier League titles, while they also claimed four consecutive Carabao Cup triumphs between 2018 and 2021.

Discussing tomorrow night's clash, Kasumu told HTTV: "A big night for the football club, a big night for the fans and for us. We're really looking forward to it.

"Obviously it's going to be a really tough test, we're playing one of the best in the world, but as a player these are the games you want to play, you want to be involved. We're looking forward to it, and let's just see how it goes."
