Amber's looking for green light at Wolves

AMBER Honey is a model of consistency and is running like she is poised to get her head in front again, with the Always Gamble Responsibly At Bet-MGM ‘Hands And Heels’ Apprentice Handicap at Wolverhampton offering her an opportunity to do so.

In the care of Ed Dunlop, the three-year-old has run 14 times, all this year, and although she has only occupied first place once, it is a rare thing that she runs a bad race.

The daughter of Expert Eye has hit the crossbar on her last four outings, most recently at Dunstall Park where she ran on better than anything with the exception of the winner to take second, beaten a length.

She has been snapped up by knowledgeable owners The Horse Watchers since that effort, which is a significant pointer in itself.

In contrast to Amber Honey, it has not been a smooth season for Chico Dulce, who has only been seen twice.
