We need more council houses at cheap rents

SO, having digested the Budget, it appears the advice is to stop work and have more children.

Given that statistics are showing that the majority of births in the UK are from the non-ethnic UK population, I can't see the benefit, apart from for Labour MPs in those constituencies.

What I would like to see is a greater incentive for couples to be in long-term relationships and importantly to work; then given the opportunity to buy simple, basic homes and, when secure, they can start a family and/or upgrade to better homes, leaving them available as low-cost starters for the next group coming along.
