Triple amputee telling his story at summit event

A FORMER Royal Marine who became a triple amputee at the age of 24 in Afghanistan is appearing at an event to share his story.

Mark Ormrod MBE was serving in Afghanistan on Christmas Eve, 2007, when he stood on an improvised explosive device (IED).
Mark joined the Marines at the age of 17.
After his accident left him without both legs and his right arm, he went from being a Commando to a 4 x Invictus Games Gold Medalist and bestselling author.
On June 20, starting at 7pm, Mark will be discussing his journey at an event hosted by Kaizen Summit in Harcombe House, Newton Abbot.
