A PLYMOUTH beauty salon with 'incredible' clients and staff are celebrating a big win and the team are 'lost for words.'

It's the second year in a row that the Plympton beauty business has claimed the prize for National Best Beauty Salon of the Year, via prestigious competition The English Hair & Beauty Awards.

Owner Lucy Phillips first opened Purity Salon in 2013, she 'came into this industry after seven years in the Royal Navy' and is also 'a busy mum' to two teenage boys. Juggling the business and family life can be 'full on' she said, but she 'wouldn't have it any other way'.

She said that 'winning these awards is the icing on the cake' and a reminder that 'all the hard work, training and passion really is worth it'.
