Tamar tolls to rise again next week

MOTORISTS are to be hit by toll increases for the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry from next week.
The charges for those travelling by car will increase from £2.60 to £3 per crossing from midnight on May 12.
Tamar Tag holders will continue to pay 50% of the full toll, with a tag toll for cars and vans set to increase from £1.30 to £1.50. Tolls for other vehicles will broadly increase pro rata. Motorcycle tolls at Torpoint will also increase from 50p to £1 from the same date.
