SUMMER MAYHEW-BRADLEY, 15 SUMMER is an inspiring young athlete whose resilience and dedication have made a lasting impact on her club and community. After the tragic loss of her cousin Alfie, she found strength in netball and remained a committed, positive force for her team.
Beyond her athletic ability, Summer stands out for her selfless commitment to volunteering. She gives her time every week as a junior coach, supports junior league matches as an official, and has earned her “Into Officiating” award.
Her growth from a shy participant to a confident mentor has made her a role model for younger players who look up to her for guidance and encouragement.
A true team player, she’s reliable, adaptable, and always willing to help - on or off the court. Even after not being initially selected for the Bath netball pathway, she responded with resilience, worked harder, and earned a retrial.
Summer's energy, leadership, and dedication help create a supportive, empowering environment at Musketeers Netball Club. Her volunteer work and character make her a shining example of giving back and rising through adversity.
ALFIE MOORE - 12
ALFIE’S journey hasn't been easy. In just a few short years, he’s weathered more than many do in a lifetime. Each challenge could have dimmed his light - but instead, Alfie found a way to shine even brighter.
