SPINAL PROCEDURE LEFT HIM PARALYSED
A PLYMOUTH man left paralysed by surgery hopes to return home after half a year in hospital.
Simon Haasz had what was meant to be a hopeful surgery to remove a rare tumour from his spinal cord, but the procedure left him unable to move from the chest down.
Since that day in May of this year he has been in hospital, including marking a milestone birthday there as he turned 40. Now, his loved ones are hoping to raise money to make his home suitable for him to return to and start “rebuilding his life”.
