SHOPFITTING by SWS B are still struggling to field three players in their Division One clashes and had to play Crafthole A again with only Jan Walaszkowski (2) and Colin Mitchell (3) but managed to come away with a 6-4 victory after winning the doubles.
Johnny Hill saved the whitewash for Shopfitting by SWS C over Molyneux Associates A, beating Paul Haigh 11-6, 14-12, 11-6. During Hill's match against Tony Sweet, Hill found himself 10-4 up but lost 12-14. SWS's John Sherlock found himself 2-1 up against Haigh but then eventually lost the match going down 7-11 and 1-11.
A bottom-of-the-table clash saw Shopfitting by SWS D and E lock horns, with the D team coming away with an 8-2 victory to give them a slim chance of staving off relegation. Rob Barnes secured his maximum despite being 2-0 up against Tony Powlesland. Finding himself at 2-a-piece, he recovered to win the deciding game 11-5.
