Services just single defeat from relegation

DEVONPORT Services suffered a 43-24 home defeat by Taunton Titans that leaves them just one more defeat away from being relegated.
Services are 16 points away from safety with 20 points to play for, the next five up for grabs this Saturday away at Loughborough. Lose there and what has looked inevitable for a while will become unavoidable.
Services' defeats this season have followed a similar pattern - and this one was little different. Errors in defence, wrong options in attack and a general decline in the last quarter have been their undoing.
The difference this time round was Services started woefully, but improved as the game went on.
