LUNA'S FUND SUPPORTS FAMILIES WHO ARE GRIEVING
RUNNERS are lacing up their trainers this weekend to help families in Plymouth experiencing “unimaginable grief”. Nearly 50 runners will take part in the Plymouth Running Festival for Luna’s Fund.
The charity supports families through baby loss - something some of the Luna's Fund runners in Sunday's half marathon, 10k and 5k have experienced themselves.
Sporting their Luna's Fund purple t-shirts, participants of all ages and abilities will pound the city’s pavements, driven by a shared commitment to help the charity's mission of providing practical and emotional support.
Sadie York, who is taking part in her first 5k, is running in memory of her longed for daughter Myla, who was born sleeping in 2023.
