Pilgrims will head to Orient in Trophy

PLYMOUTH Argyle have been drawn away to face their League One rivals Leyton Orient in the Vertu Trophy round of 32, with the tie in east London to be played on the week commencing December 1.
The Pilgrims progressed to the knockout stages of the competition despite losing 1-0 away to Bristol Rovers in their third and final Southern Group B game. Victories against Cheltenham Town (2-0) and Tottenham Hotspur Under-21s (6-2) saw the Pilgrims pick up six points from their Group campaign.
That meant Argyle finished as group runners-up to Rovers and now face the prospect of a trip to Orient, who are currently in 20th position in League One.
