Nicholls returning to Coliseum

PLYMOUTH Gladiators have announced their first signing of the 2026 season - and it's a statement one as well with speedway legend Scott Nicholls returning to the Coliseum.
A proven winner and one of British Speedway’s most respected riders, the 47-year-old (pictured) brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and determination to the Gladiators after joining midway through the 2025 campaign.
Nicholls was without a club at the start of the year, due to injury, but when fit again, he accepted the chance to wear Gladiators colours. When up to speed and fully dialled in, Nicholls turned in some decent scores as the club's form improved following his arrival.
