Lugging the weight of 'what-ifs'

RECENTLY, I've had the privilege of visiting a few different countries, all of which were fabulous.
However, before each trip, the challenge of packing!
Airlines have baggage limits, and although I was determined to travel light, I struggled to stay within the limit. I started well, checking the weather, promising myself I'll only take the essentials before panic-packing a few “just in case” extras.
A jumper in case it’s chilly, shorts and swimwear in case there is an unexpected heatwave, trainers for exploring, and shoes for the evening.
Naturally, these stay unused, and I spent most of the trips in one pair of flip-flops and a few simple outfits.
