Invitation to become a radio star

PRESENTERS at a local radio station are inviting bands and singer/ songwriters to submit their music with a view to airing it in a show focusing on local music.

Chris Baker and Zac Gribble are DJs at Ocean City Radio, which broadcasts on DAB+ across Plymouth, South East Cornwall, West Devon and the South Hams. The station also boasts a strong presence nationally and internationally, with a good following in mainland Europe, the United States, the Far East and Africa.

Run by dedicated volunteers who pride themselves on the diverse and impartial content in their programming, they striving to cater for every member of the community and rely on small-scale advertising, donations, grants and the generosity of its team members to keep the station afloat.
