CLEVERLEY WELCOMES THE CHANCE TO WORK IN TRAINING

TOM Cleverley has enjoyed spending some quality time working with his Plymouth Argyle players at the Harper's Park training ground this week.

For the first time since the start of the season, the Pilgrims have not had a midweek match and that has allowed Cleverley and his coaching staff to look to build on the confidence-boosting 4-2 League One victory over Stockport County at Home Park last Saturday.

Cleverley said: "I love being out on the grass trying to improve football players. That's a big part of why I went into this role so selfishly I have really enjoyed it.

"More importantly we have got some quality time to work on things we needed to improve on, strengths we need to develop and weaknesses we need to get better at. It's always nicer when you are doing that off the back of a good result."
