SHOPFITTING by SWS C (Johnny Hill 3) got the better of Molyneux Associates B winning 6-4 in this Division One encounter

- writes Russ Keith.

The very first set of the evening saw SWS's Steve Garlick revenge his previous defeat to Russ Keith in yet another five game match between these two players. It was an epic close encounter lasting 35 minutes with Garlick winning 10-12, 11-7, 17-15, 12-14, 11-7.

Promoted Shopfitting by SWS F suffered a whitewash at the hands of - or rather, the bats of - Molyneux Associates A. All except one match ended in straight games.

Another whitewash saw Shopfitting by SWS A beat Molyneux Associates C and all but two sets were won in straight games. Molyneux’s Toby Spencer shocked Mike Briggs with a fine performance and showed no nerves only losing 5-11, 11-7, 10-12, 11-7, 6-11.

Crafthole A could only field two players against visitors Shopfitting by SWS B but put up a brave battle losing 7-3.
