ON-LOAN WINGER COULD RETURN TO SQUAD TO FACE EXETER
TOM Cleverley has left open the possibility of Owen Dale returning to Plymouth Argyle's matchday squad for the Devon derby away to Exeter City tomorrow night.
The 26-year-old loan signing from Oxford United has not played for the Pilgrims since he was a halftime substitute in the 6-2 Vertu Trophy victory over Tottenham Hotspur U21s at Home Park on September 23. Dale has not even been on the bench for two of the last three games, the 4-0 win away to Burton Albion and the 2-1 home defeat by AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.
Cleverley attributed Dale's lack of involvement to changing his tactical approach for recent fixtures, which resulted from long-term injuries to attacking duo Xavier Amaechi and Caleb Watts.
