Shopfitting by SWS B beat their C club mates 7-3 in a great evening of table tennis with Dan Kayes taking the only maximum, this was backed up with a brace from Jan Walaszkowski. Johnny Hill (C team) required two tiebreak wins to defeat Colin Mitchell12-10, 11-9, 6-11, 15-13, writes Russ Keith.
After a slow start to the phase Molyneux Associates B, picked up much needed points beating their C club mates 9-1. Ben Stanbury, playing better with every game, picked up his first maximum along with John Steuart. The up-and-coming Toby Spencer took his teams solitary point but played extremely well with some outrageous play and clinical finishing.
Shopfitting by SWS F languish at the bottom of the division after being whitewashed by their A club mates. All games were won in three ends except for Johnny Hill requiring a fifth end win over Mel Birwe 5-11, 8-11, 12-110, 11-5, 11-7.
