US hit another 'drug boat' off Venezuela, Trump claims

US forces struck another vessel off the coast of Venezuela over the weekend, Donald Trump has said, claiming the vessel had been illegally carrying drugs.

Trump made the comment during a speech marking 250 years of the US navy at Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia on Sunday. It was not immediately clear if he was referring to a strike announced on Friday by the defence secretary, Pete Hegseth.
