Trump reportedly to accept gift of $400m jet from Qatari royals

Donald Trump is reportedly ready to accept a jumbo jet described as a "palace in the sky" offered as a gift by Qatar's royal family, bringing accusations of bribery and corruption.
Citing multiple sources yesterday, ABC said the Trump administration was preparing to accept a luxury Boeing 747-8, estimated to be worth about $400m (£300m). Trump would use the 13-year-old plane as the new Air Force One until near the end of his second Oval Office stint, at which point it would be transferred to his presidential library foundation.
The gift is expected to be announced next week during Trump's three-day tour of the Middle East that includes Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar.
