Relocation help might have saved boy's life, says charity

The life of a 14-year-old stab victim could have been saved had he been helped to move out of south-east London, according to an anti-knife crime charity that knew him.
Kelyan Bokassa, who was an aspiring drill rapper, was stabbed to death on a bus in Woolwich on Tuesday.
Mark Rodney of Project Lifeline said the charity had relocated three of Kelyan's friends after the fatal stabbing of another friend, Daejaun Campbell, 15, in Woolwich last September.
"Kelyan was known to us, and we had the opportunity of taking three young guys out of the area who were at risk," he said. "Unfortunately, Kelyan didn't get the chance to meet with us and move him out, because we need more support."
Rodney warned Greenwich council there would be more killings like Daejaun's without better support for young people at risk of gang violence.
