Kupwara Police Organizes 'Thana Diwas' Across the District to Strengthen Police-Public Partnership

As part of its ongoing initiative to promote community-oriented policing, build trust-based relationships, and ensure effective public grievance redressal, Kupwara Police thursday organized ‘Thana Diwas’ at various police establishments across the district.

A flagship event of the day was held at Police Station Kupwara, which was chaired by SSP Kupwara, Shri Ghulam Jeelani Wani (JKPS).The program was attended by DySPs (Probationers)—Mr. Shivek Sharma, Mr. Raghav Chowdhary, Ms Goldy Sharma, and Ms. Manisha Kumari — along with SHO Kupwara, Inspector Yasir Rashid. The event witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from local residents, civil society representatives, business leaders, retired police personnel, and youth groups.
