In view of the forthcoming holy month of Muharram-ul-Haram, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, friday visited Imam Bara Shahoo where he chaired a joint meeting of officers and representatives of the Imambara to review and finalize the arrangements for the observance of Muharram.
During the meeting, DC issued a series of directions to ensure smooth conduct of religious gatherings during the holy days. He directed the officers from KPDCL and Jal Shakti to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply, particularly in Shia-populated areas of the district.
