ALLEGED murder victim Rhys Cameron, 8, has been remembered in a touching vigil outside of his Billingham home.

- By FELICITY COLLINSON

Devastated community members laid flowers, teddies, toys and touching notes, while balloons were tied to the fence outside of the house in Marsh House Avenue. And at the event, at 5pm on Friday, mourners released a collection of balloons into the sky.

The gathering was organised following the death of much-loved Rhys.

Louise Cameron is accused of murdering the boy between Saturday, September 13, and Monday, September 15.
