State-of-the-art sport centre celebrating its 10th birthday

ONE of Middlesbrough's best-loved leisure venues is celebrating its 10th birthday.
-
Middlesbrough Sports Village was officially launched in May 2015 and has developed a reputation as one of the best facilities of its kind in the region.
The iconic Marton Road complex replaced the decades-old Clairville Stadium with a state-of-the-art sport hall and gym, 400m outdoor running track and velodrome.
And it has gone from strength to strength over its first 10 years, playing host to flagship events including the Northern Athletics Championships and North East Counties Athletics Championships.
