Man held after 'unexplained' death of woman

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman in Thornaby.
Police on Baysdale Road in Thornaby yesterday - a 47-year-old woman died after and incident there
Police were called to the scene in the early hours of yesterday.
Officers were called by the North East Ambulance Service over concerns for a woman at a property on Baysdale Road shortly before 2.15am.
A resident said that three police cars and a police van attended the incident, along with two ambulances, and a flat was taped off.
