INQUEST HEARS IT APPEARS HE MISJUDGED BEING ABLE TO GET TO OTHER SIDE SAFELY
A YOUNG man died after being hit by a car when he ran out into the road in a tragic misjudgement, an inquest heard.
Harrison Glen Harvey was a pedestrian who tragically died after being hit by a blue BMW 330 in Hartlepoolat around 4.15pm on Sunday, February 9 this year.
The A179 westbound was closed for several hours as police, paramedics and the air ambulance flooded the road. Sadly, 25-year-old Harrison, from Hartlepool, was pronounced dead at the scene.
An inquest into Harrison's death heard that he had been out for a run and misjudged being able to run across the road safely. He died from injuries sustained to his head and neck.
