Loan system has helped Brynn shine

THE benefits which can be attained from the loan system are perfectly obvious in the career of Sol Brynn.

The Teessider, who has established himself as Boro’s No.1 this season without the benefit of very much Championship experience, has done so on the foundations which he laid down in loan spells at Swindon Town and Leyton Orient.
In all he already had 100 senior games under his belt before he won the vote as Rob Edwards’ first choice keeper at the start of this season.
Clearly, this has made a massive contribution towards giving Sol the confidence he needed to step into the top job at the Boro and make such a huge contribution this season.
