Lifeboat crews swoop to rescue trio in trouble

CHILDREN SEEN WEARING OXYGEN MASKS
COASTAL rescue teams helped save three people, including two children, who were struggling in the sea at Redcar.
At about 6pm on Wednesday, HM Coastguard was called to the Beacon area on the seafront.
Teams from Redcar and Staithes attended the RNLI Redcar lifeboat was launched.
The trio was picked up by the lifeboat and brought to shore before being checked over by coastguard teams.
They were then placed in the care of the North East Ambulance Service.
The Redcar RNLI launched the D Class lifeboat to assist RNLI lifeguards at the scene.
