DEALER'S SENTENCE EXTENDED TO 13 YEARS
A DRUG dealer who terrorised his neighbour and kidnapped his own driver has seen his jail term extended.
In August, Dale Hamilton was sentenced to 10 years behind bars after admitting a string of offences including kidnap, blackmail, two counts of robbery, and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
This has now been increased by three years after the solicitor general referred his case to the Court of Appeal under the unduly lenient sentence scheme. Teesside Crown Court heard this year how the 29-year-old’s two victims were terrified for their lives and eventually contacted the police.
On Tuesday, December 9, the London court heard how during 2024 Hamilton ran a drugs line supplying cocaine.
