BORO boss Rob Edwards was encouraged by much of his side’s display at Mansfield, but admitted: “I still want loads more”.

There are still four more games for Boro to get up to speed before that August 9 Riverside curtain-raiser against Swansea City.

In that time, expect new arrivals and potentially some departures. That may or may not influence change on the pitch as far as the setup is concerned.

But principles of the play are what's key at this stage.

This team will undoubtedly evolve further still, and will absolutely still need a good few additions to the squad if they are to have any chance of being legitimate contenders next term.
