Floodlights upgrade plan for Seasiders

NEW SYSTEM WILL HELP 'ENSURE CLUB'S FUTURE'
A FOOTBALL club is hoping for the go ahead from planning officials to install new floodlights.
Marske United FC has applied for planning permission from Redcar and Cleveland Council for six, 15ft high floodlight columns which will each house 18 LEDs.
The club in its application said they would be fixed galvanised steel lighting columns which would be operated between 6pm and 10pm Monday to Friday and between 3pm and 6pm on weekends. Their Mount Pleasant ground is overlooked on its open sides by nearby housing.
