Dual-purpose bins installed on banks of River Tees

NEW bins have been fitted near the Tees Barrage after a lack of funding caused the removal of the previous bins.

The four new dual-purpose street bins are for rubbish and dog waste.
Stockton Council said it has worked in partnership with the Canal and River Trust (CRT) charity to install the new bins on their land. The council has also agreed to maintain and regularly empty the bins.
