HE IS 'DELIGHTED' TO BE BACK AT WORK
A LOCAL politician attended his first council meeting since a brush with death back in January.
Liberal Democrat Councillor Morgan McClintock has been recovering over the last few months following an emergency operation that he said undoubtedly saved his life.
At an extraordinary meeting of the People Scrutiny Panel, held on May 12, arranged to discuss NHS draft Quality Accounts for 2024/25, Cllr McClintock said: “I am delighted to be here today, I was determined to be back for this important meeting, having participated in it last year and I am grateful for all the ‘get well’ messages from across the political divide in the council.
