Boro keep watch on Czech star

MIDDLESBROUGH are reportedly weighing up a move for Viktoria Plzen attacking midfielder Pavel Sulc - but face competition from Premier League Bournemouth and a host of European sides.
The 24-year-old Czech international is set to leave Plzen this summer after hitting 20 goals and registering 15 assists in 54 appearances in all competitions last season.
Plzen are yet to receive any formal offers for Sulc to date but his representatives have been fielding calls over his availability and there have been requests to gauge the numbers involved in a potential transfer deal.
Crucially, Sulc is now into the final year of his contract and Plzen are anticipating a sale before the conclusion of the summer window.
Boro and Andoni Iraola's Cherries are among the clubs monitoring the player and they're not alone, as other unnamed English sides are also believed to be in the fray.
