Boro boss backed to repay chairman's faith

MIDDLESBROUGH manager Rob Edwards has been backed to be a success at the club and pay back the decision of Steve Gibson to give the former Luton Town boss a chance at the Riverside Stadium.

That's the view of former Liverpool and Aston Villa striker and Wrexham manager Dean Saunders, who has been singing the praises of the new Boro boss.
Edwards went from one of the darlings of football management to wondering what would be next after losing his job at Luton following a poor start to life back in the Championship after relegation from the Premier League.
