CHAIN EXPANDS INTO FORMER BUTCHER'S
A POPULAR bar and bottle shop is set to open its third venue as owners get ready to welcome customers in Saltburn.
The first Brass Monkey Beer Boutique opened its doors in Guisborough back in 2021.
Since then, longtime friends Danny McCluskey and Jon Harrison have expanded the business with a venue on Stokesley High Street which served its first pints in 2024.
The third site is expected to open on Dundas Street East in Saltburn today.
The site has undergone a complete transformation, with the bar moving into the former premises of longstanding butchers JE Smith, which closed earlier this year due to a retirement.
Now, owners say Brass Monkey Saltburn will feature one of the largest craft beer selections in the North East, and over 300 different drinks to choose from.
