COLOURFUL CABINS ON THE SEA FRONT HAVE BEEN LEASED FROM THE LOCAL COUNCIL

(SUE KIRBY)
A BUSINESSWOMAN has taken on a new venture after getting the keys to Seaton Carew beach huts.
Lisa Neville, has taken over the day-to-day running of the colourful cabins on the sea front - an is even running her existing business K9Carew out of one of them, selling a range of dog treats and accessories.
For Lisa this latest venture is a real labour of love, combining her love of dogs with her affection for Seaton Carew where she grew up.
She has taken over the running of the eight huts on the promenade after leasing them from Hartlepool Council.
Last year the huts were leased by Shonette Bason who wanted to create a beach school, but unfortunately the venture ended.
Now, Lisa is using one of the huts as the base for K9Carew, whilst actively marketing the others as traditional beach huts.
