DEFENDER HEADS HOME IN 96TH MINUTE AFTER JONES SENT OFF FOR TEESSIDERS
Leicester forward Julian Carranza shoots wide Boro defender Alfie Jones wins the ball from Leicester forward Abdul Fatawu
LUKE Ayling's 96th minute equaliser salvaged a point for Middlesbrough but couldn't stop them slipping out of the automatic promotion places after a 1-1 draw at Leicester City saw them leapfrogged by Stoke City.
There wasn't much to put between the two teams at a soggy King Power Stadium but a Jordan Ayew penalty just before half time looked as though it had proved the difference as Alfie Jones saw red for a professional foul in the 90th minute.
However, Ayling had other ideas as he leapt above everyone to head Callum Brittain's cross home deep into added time. In truth it was no more than the visitors deserved.
Rob Edwards made two changes to the side which lost at Watford, with Dael Fry out injured and Alan Browne dropping on to the bench. That prompted a change of shape which saw Morgan Whittaker and David Strelec come into the team.
