VP Sara to spend 47th b-day at The Hague for ICC rally

Vice President Sara Duterte will mark her 47th birthday at The Hague, Netherlands, where she is set to attend a program reiterating calls for the International Criminal Court (ICC) to release her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte.

In an interview in Davao on May 17, the Vice President confirmed that she will spend May 31 at The Hague to be with her father, who has been detained at the ICC since March.
“On May 31, there will be a program, a rally there ‘ICC, send PRRD home’ at The Hague, in front of the detention center where they call it ‘Duterte Street,’” she said.
“So, I will have no birthday celebration for this year. All of these (activities) are for the ICC case,” the Vice President added.
