USPF stages stunning comeback to defeat UC in V-League thriller

The University of Southern Philippines Foundation Panthers completed a great escape while the University of San Jose-Recoletos Lady Jaguars and the University of San Carlos (USC) Lady Warriors stayed undefeated in the inaugural V-League Visayas over the weekend at the USPF Gymnasium in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
In the men’s division, the USPF Panthers rallied from two sets down to upset the defending Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) champions University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters in a five-set thriller,24-26, 14-25, 25-18, 25-16, 15-7.
Jasper Judilla shined the brightest with 20 points as the Panthers grabbed the solo lead with a perfect 3-0 record.
