The Toledo Chess Warriors grabbed the championship crown of the 6th Boy 'Chessmoso' Pestaño Memorial Tatluhan Open Chess Tournament that was held in celebration of the 35th founding anniversary of the Cebu Executives and Professionals Chess Association (CEPCA) last Sunday, November 9, at Robinsons Galleria Cebu.

Bannered by Christopher Tubalado, Reduard Contaoi, and Zhy Rich Maniego, the Toledo Chess Warriors were actually tied with Check Yo' Self manned by Yves Christian Fiel, Spencer de Guzman, and Ralph Daniel Dakay who also completed the seven-round Swiss system competition with 12.0 points.
