Mary Rose Marbil paved the way for wellness to thrive in the police force

- By MIGUEL LIBOSADA

One of Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Rommel Marbil's goals during his term was to empower the police force. In doing so, he had the support of his beloved wife, Mary Rose Marbil, who served as the national adviser of the PNP OLC Foundation.

The organization has made strides, advocating for the welfare of the police force through various initiatives, extending financial, medical, and legal assistance to PNP personnel and their families.

Ms. Marbil, together with her husband, met with members of the media in late May 2025. She waxed nostalgic about the foundation's achievements alongside her hopes and aspirations for its future.

A LEGACY OF SERVICE

The PNP OLC Foundation started as a social club for the wives of the Philippine Constabulary officers, PNP's predecessors. With the changing times and the efforts of its members, the club transformed. It became more connected to PNP personnel, with its sole purpose to help them and their dependents.
