PRO-7 eyes faster response times

Police Regional Office 7 (PRO-7) is moving to implement key reforms under the leadership of newly appointed Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, PGen Nicolas Torre III.
This was according to PRO-7 Regional Director PBGen Redrico Maranan during a recent media briefing, who shared their focus on enhancing police effectiveness, improving response times, and boosting officer well-being.
Key changes include the implementation of an eight-hour duty schedule for police personnel, the enforcement of a threeto five-minute response time for emergencies, and the use of performance-based metrics in evaluating law enforcement efficiency.
