PAGASA: “Warmer days ahead”

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has officially announced the end of Amihan or the Northeast Monsoon in most parts of the country, ushering in the start of the dry season.
“Warmer days ahead,” PAGASA stated, while cautioning that occasional thunderstorms may still occur.
In its latest advisory signed by Administrator Nathaniel Servando, PAGASA explained the shift in wind direction as a key indicator of the seasonal change.
