The Cebu Provincial Government, led by outgoing Governor Gwendolyn Garcia, reported P310 billion in assets and P6.015 billion in cash on hand ahead of the leadership turnover to Governorelect Pamela Baricuatro.

Governor Garcia personally shared the figures during a meeting held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, with the newly elected, reelected, and outgoing members of the Cebu Provincial Board.

The provincial government has reported at strong financial position, with total current account balances amounting to P6,015,634,995.24. This figure reflects the combined resources across five key funds maintained by the province.

The General Fund, which serves as the main operating fund for government services, holds P2,791,562,720.47.

The Special Education Fund, dedicated to supporting educational programs and infrastructure, contains P1,137,794,988.28. The Trust Fund, often allocated for specific and legally mandated projects, has a substantial P1,889,774,978.65.

Additionally, the Settlement Account-typically used for resolving financial obligations or special transactions-holds P195,502,307.84. The Easy Account, possibly a simplified or auxiliary account, contains P1,000,000.
